Linc Fund
The dedicated Linc Fund is part of the support we provide to assist with finances when it may be challenging to navigate after a cancer diagnosis. We offer bespoke funding which is quick and easy to apply for to assist with a wide variety of needs.
Committed to supporting people diagnosed with blood cancer and their families, our impact doesn’t just lie within the hospital but with home life too.
From mortgage and rent payments, childcare costs, alternative pain management or funding a family day out, it is completely tailored to your needs. Everyone’s experience is different and we understand that your situation will require a personalised approach.
Whether you’re spending a prolonged period of time in hospital or if you are on the day unit we try and bring some home comforts to make your time more bearable. Over the years we have funded items such as craft and activity boxes for the day units and for the wards we provide exercise bikes and Sky TV. We listen to what patients feel would help improve their stay and we do our best to then fund what is needed.
Linc are here for you, as long as you need us….
We’re always overwhelmed by the incredible stories from patients and their families who have accessed the fund. We know too well what a lifeline this service is.
Your Stories
Over our 25-year history, we have provided thousands of pounds in funding to support blood cancer patients and their families. We are only able to offer this vital service through kind donations and funds raised by our wonderful community.

When I was facing an intensive stage of treatment, which coincided with the school summer holidays the Linc fund gave me invaluable support and reassurance by providing me with a grant to cover the cost of sending my 5-year-old son to a summer holiday club daily.
This allowed me to attend daily treatment and my husband to continue working. We had the peace of mind in knowing our son was having fun and being well looked after during his summer break. My treatment meant I hadn’t been able to work for so long I no longer got sick pay and financially we couldn’t have covered the cost of this, so we are so grateful to the Linc fund for their support.
