Charity Volunteering

Make a real difference by becoming a volunteer with Linc. Our incredible army of volunteers are a force for good and are united by the same goal of supporting local blood cancer patients.

Join Our Supportive Community

We are proud to have a community of committed and enthusiastic individuals who not only provide their time but also their talents to help the vital work of Linc. We would love you to join our team as there are so many different and exciting opportunities which we can tailor to your skills and time commitments.

Use Your Skills, Make a Difference

We have roles to volunteer in our much loved charity shops on Bath Road and Winchcombe Street in Cheltenham, where you can merchandise our awesome donated goods, help behind the scenes or serve our customers, there is always so much to do. Our shop volunteers are a friendly and committed team who raise a huge amount of money for the charity, we simply couldn’t do it without them.

There are various volunteer roles across the charity from helping with office tasks, generating content across our social media platforms, telling our story by public speaking, supporting our vital fundraising efforts, helping out at our various events across the year, collecting donations or gardening in our Sanctuary Garden, which is loved by patients and the community alike, the options are endless.

If you have a passion for making a positive change with your skills and knowledge or you would like to expand your skill set and CV, we’d love to hear from you.

The lifeblood of our organisation

Just to show what an incredible difference our volunteers make, in 2023 alone, over 2,500 hours were donated through volunteering for Linc and if there was a minimum wage applied to those hours it would have cost us £25,966.64! Our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation and make our work possible.

Relationships with businesses

We are proud that we hold a high number of trusting relationships with businesses, which have been created over the years around Employee volunteering. We create meaningful lasting relationships bound by an alignment between the businesses and Linc’s values.

We offer bespoke Employee Volunteer plans so as a business you can be assured that your aims of working with a charity are being met while knowing that the staff who are donating their time are gaining experience and having fun while volunteering for a local charity making a real impact. We have received fantastic feedback from the businesses we work with that it’s improved team building, communication and staff morale.
