What inspired your business/organisation to support Linc?
Getting to hear of the work Linc undertake, and their passion for what they do is truly inspiring, and we’re proud to support such a meaningful local cause through helping with the website and helping grow awareness of the fantastic cause.
What does being a Linc Charity Partner mean to you and your team?
Being a Linc Charity Partner gives us the opportunity to give something back and support the brilliant team and work they do. A number of our staff, like everyone, have been hit by Cancer in their friends or family, so helping in a small way is a really positive way to give back. As a business that connects and promotes people, it’s important to us to also help bring people together for a good cause.
What has been your favourite Linc fundraiser, challenge, or event so far?
We’ve really enjoyed getting involved in Linc’s events, particularly the local quiz’s that bring local businesses together. The community atmosphere at these events is always fantastic, and it’s great to be part of something that makes a positive impact. We’re looking forward to continuing our involvement and supporting many more events in the future!
John Morgan Partnership is an independent insurance broker that provides tailored insurance solutions for businesses and individuals. They work with a wide range of insurers to identify risks, arrange suitable cover, and offer ongoing advice and support to protect their clients.
What inspired your business/organisation to support Linc?
As an independent broker who works with lots of clients in the Gloucestershire area, we understand the importance of supporting local businesses/causes – the work that Linc do in the community is fantastic, and we’re extremely proud to join a number of our clients in supporting Linc through fundraising and events.
What does being a Linc Charity Partner mean to you and your team?
It’s great to give back to the local community in whatever capacity one can, and as an insurance broker we’re privileged to have access to a wide array of different businesses in the area so we try to use this influence to drive more support towards Linc from the Gloucestershire area and beyond. The events Linc run are always fabulous, and it’s our pleasure to be involved in them in whatever capacity required.
What has been your favourite Linc fundraiser, challenge, or event so far?
Our Linc shoot day last year was a particular highlight, however from a personal perspective I’ve thoroughly enjoyed hosting the Big Linc Quizzes in Cheltenham and Gloucester.
HCR Law is a UK-based law firm offering a full range of legal services to businesses, organisations, and individuals. They provide expert advice across areas such as corporate law, dispute resolution, and private client services, helping clients manage risk and achieve their goals.
What inspired your business to support Linc?
We had been aware of Linc for some time, but it was only after attending an event where one of the Psychologists spoke about their work with individuals and families affected by blood cancer that we truly appreciated just how essential their services are. The reach of their support and the impact of their research are remarkable. Linc is not only providing vital support but also enabling access to pioneering trials that are making a real difference across the country. Linc is inspiring.
What does being a Linc Charity Partner mean to you and your team?
Community and connection – Linc have become an extension of the HCR CSR team. They make collaboration easy, providing support and encouragement for all our fundraising and volunteering activities and bringing positive and welcoming energy to everything they do.
What would you say to another business thinking about supporting Linc?
Just do it! If you want to build quality, lasting relationships with a great team, have fun fundraising or volunteering and be part of something really impactful, it’s a no-brainer.
Colour Connection are a curious and creative team of consultants, designers, technicians, united by the desire to push the boundaries of print. They started out life as a small franchise almost 40 years ago, but now in the hands of the founder’s son, they are on a mission to change the printing industry for good.
What inspired our business to support Linc, and why the cause matters to us?
We’ve always admired the fabulous work Linc does in supporting people through some of the toughest moments of their lives. The impact Linc has in our community is remarkable, and we wanted to be part of making a meaningful difference. Working alongside such a dedicated and compassionate team makes supporting Linc feel natural and truly worthwhile.
